Almost the Happiest Place on Earth

I can't believe that Jay and I have already been home a week from Florida but we have. it almost feels like we never went but I'll give you the highlights. We actually got a four day park hopper pass and went to all four parks. The first day we went to Animal Kingdom and had the best time. It is like being in the coolest zoo with great rides and good food. The safari through Africa was really neat and almost made me want to go on a real one. (I'm not sure if I can do the bugs in Africa, the wild animals no problem but the bugs..) There are a couple different attractions where you walk through forests or highlands to see the animals. The best was Africa where you walk and see the gorillas. I'll bet there was 10 silver backs all wandering around. Day two we went to Epcot. It is huge. We had heard how good the food was in France at the patisserie and we weren't disappointed. The test track ride from GMC was also really fun and I finally found a popcorn cart.(If any of you ever went to Disneyland with my dad, you'll understand the need for popcorn). At about five we left and went over to the Magic Kingdom first by monorail and then by ferry. We had to leave at about 7:30 to pick up my mom at the airport. Yes. you read it right. Jay had meetings the next two days so I had invited my mom. Day three we went to Disney Hollywood Studios (my mom and I) and she almost started a war with France but instead just gnawed on her shoes. We went to get Jay at five and went back to the Magic Kingdom and had dinner at Tony's and rode a few rides. I beat Jay in Buzz Lightyear much to his shame. The fourth day I took my mom to Epcot and again ate in France warning her to not speak. We made it through without a scratch and met a nice kid from London working in the sport shop in the United Kingdom and we shopped...alot. We went and got Jay again and played again in the Magic Kingdom. It was really fun. The next morning Jay got up at five and took Shirls to the airport, I slept until 10:30 and then spent the whole day by the pool reading until Jay was finished. We went to find a cool spot to eat for the last night but couldn't pass up the Tony Roma's. It was a good time, warm, and mostly relaxing.

First I would like to say that the way I heard it she did start a war in France!!! I'm glad you guys had a good time and that you were able to read "alone" by the pool at least one day!

The French already don't like us and knowing Shirls I am extremely happy you were even allowed back into the country. I like this trip in a nutshell thing.
Hey, I want to put some color...don't pass out...in my front room and I was also thinking about a sectional but I don't know if it will be too big. This is definately your thing not mine please advise!!
