About Me

tortured mormon mom
Salt Lake City, Utah
My name is Mary Anne and I never thought I would have a blog. I'm still 39, although my oldest daughter is 23 and I may have to age a little this year. I have 6 kids, 2 girls (on the ends) and 4 boys (all together in the middle). I work almost full time as a designer and almost always love it. The Tortured Mormon Mom comes from my husband Jay. He thinks that I want it all. Successful career, big family, and to be active in my religion. I think I have it all; the torturous part comes in the form of everything isn't always perfect. Sometimes things even conflict with each other. I try to do my best but sometimes....Jay and I have been married almost 17 years. So far it has been a great life but I can't wait to see the rest. I love to read, go to Broadway shows, see movies, listen to music and watch tv (embarassing to admit but true.)
